List and describe the features of the devices you have suggested for P1

The HTC Windows 8x Phone has a camera with a light. It also has a app store just like apple where you can download games, music and other apps.  It has a wide variety of websites such as Facebook, YouTube and Twitter and many more that you can go on but some websites may not work very well.

The Acer laptop has also got a camera which you can use for doing a webcam chat on Facebook etc. You can go on the internet and go on a variety of websites. You can download games onto your laptop but you may want an anti-virus just in case your laptop gets a virus. You can go on word, PowerPoint, excel etc.

On an Ipad you can go on the app store and download games, music, news etc. You can do Facetime and send messages. Facetime is a webcam chat that is only available on apple products. You can play games and listen to music wirelessly.

       Advantages and Disadvantages of moving to a IT based communication

Some advantages of using an IT based communication system is that you could write your report in word on a bus and complete it before a deadline. You can complete unfinished work when you are on the go without using WIFI.  If you spell your spellings incorrect you can use grammar check. Grammar check is when if you spell a word wrong it will correct it for you. You can save paper and you can save your time rather than writing it on paper. You can communicate with other people around the world.

Some disadvantages are you could lose your WIFI connection which means you may not be able to complete your work for the deadline. Another disadvantage is if you’re in a rush you could forget to save it and all of your work will be lost. You could send your details and personal information to the wrong person. If you are not careful you can catch viruses which can mess up your computer or laptop. You would have to put on an anti-virus to stop viruses spreading around your computer. People will have to be trained to use the equipment and how a computer works.

I think people should use a computer based communication because you save thousands of bits of paper and you can communicate with other people all around the world. It will save your time rather than having to write it down on paper and you can complete your work before your deadline.
